Before moving to St. Louis, I was on the brink of injury and had rough technique. I had been Olympic weightlifting for about 6 months. At my previous club, the training methodology was all about the here and now: pushing for PRs everyday. When I joined Strength Works, Coach Zach immediately assessed my technique and competitive goals. He created a long-term, customized and tailored program for my individual success as a weightlifter. I have been training at Strength Works for two months now and have already developed significantly better technique while making smooth and consistent PRs. The balanced environment at Strength Works encourages me to be myself while also supporting me when I need to put my head down and make big lifts. Overall, Strength Works exists as a gym for anyone looking to enjoy weightlifting while also pushing themselves to the next level.
